The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November & December each year.

They distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

If you can afford it, and you are on a "toy run" to broaden your collection, please pick up something extra and give it to one of the Marines that you may see at the malls, Toy R Us, etc. For more information click on this link:

    Toys "R" Us

Now through January 7, 2005, Toys ?R? Us retail stores will accept cash donations to the Toys ?R? Us Children?s Fund from customers at stores and online at www.Toysrus.com. Toys for Tots will use the monetary donations raised by the Toys ?R? Us Children?s Fund, Inc. to purchase toys to benefit needy children throughout the nation.

Kick-off events for the partnership will take place at all Toys ?R? Us and Geoffrey stores nationwide from Friday, November 5 through Sunday, November 7. At that time, individuals are welcome to bring in or purchase a new and unwrapped toy for donation to Toys for Tots. During this kick-off weekend, Marines or Toys for Tots volunteers will be stationed in many Toys ?R? Us stores across the country to oversee the toy collection.

Not able to get out this holiday season. Then go to www.Toysrus.com and donate a toy to Toys for Tots online.

I usually donate at least a dozen McFarlane figures each year to toys for tots.

Last year I think I gave 16 figures.... but the marines were passing them back and forth saying "Didja see this one? What about that one?"

They were things like Where the Wild Things, Kiss, Sports, and such... nothing TOO scary or gory.

Hell, I'm sure Kim could donate about 900 Neo's.

Yep, the Marines always set up around here (damn those guys look good in those dress uniforms! ) in several places and I usually end up donating toys several times throughout the season.
